On 30 September 2020, H.E. Mr Allan McKinnon, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, and Dr Ilona Stobutzki, Minister Counsellor (Agriculture) attended Thailand’s Foreign Agricultural Policy Briefing by H.E. Dr Chalemchai Sree-on, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
Aussies love Thai agriculture products – with popular items like rice, seafood and tropical fruits accounting for more than $1.4 billion in export value in 2019.
And Thais enjoy many Australian exports, like Aussie citrus, beef and dairy products.
Both of our economies rely on exports, so it’s important we are working together to support safety, security and sustainability in our agriculture relationship.
