Siam Tea Room at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting you to take your taste buds on a culinary journey of discovery to Southern Thailand this October and November, with its new “A Taste of Tropical South” seasonal menu.
Our talented Thai sous chef, Phukvarun Watchmon, has created a mouth-watering new menu that features some of the most delicious dishes from the Kingdom’s spectacular southern province, showcasing the fresh flavors of the tropical seas, including locally-caught produce.
A total of eight delectable dishes are available in the Southern Food Fiesta, including crab roe chili dip with boiled egg & organic Thai vegetables, Southern–style herbal rice salad with fresh tender leaves, fluffy fish & fermented fish dressing, stir–fried prawns with sato, chili, garlic & shrimp paste and Songkhla–style braised pork belly in sweet soya sauce. Two sublime soups are available: Southern–style sour soup with fish organs & fresh vegetables, and coconut paco soup with sea prawns, chili & shallots.
Diners can end their Southern Thai feast in style with a divine dessert of Thai-style coconut pancakes.
A Taste of Tropical South menu can be enjoyed from 1 October to 30 November 2021 at Siam Tea Room from 09.00 – 20.00 hrs. This special menu selection is available for dine-in only. Dishes start from just THB 240++.
