JLL – JLL appoints as new Head of Office Leasing Advisory

Property consultancy firm JLL announced that they have promoted Thananun Ruengveeravich to Head of Office Leasing Advisory effective from 1st June 2022. In his new role, Thananun will provide strategic leadership in driving sustainable growth for JLL’s office leasing business in Thailand.

Michael Glancy, Country Head of JLL, says “Thananun will lead our office leasing business during an exciting time for the Bangkok office market where occupiers and landlords need trusted partners more than ever before. Landlords are devising strategies to enhance competitiveness of their assets in an expanding market, whilst occupiers need strategic advice that will help them navigate through the new ways of working and create long term real estate solutions to retain and attract the top talent in their respective sector.”

Mr. Thananun has over 15 years of transaction experience. In the past 10 years with JLL, he headed the tenant representation division, helping many notable international and domestic companies with their office requirements from occupancy planning that creates and aligns real estate strategy to business goals, consultancy on office efficiency improvement, space requirement analysis, site search, lease negotiations for both renewals and relocations.

“With his wealth of experience and strong leadership skills, Thananun will help lead our office leasing team to drive business growth with existing and new clients, whilst ensuring the highest standards of service delivery to our customers,” says Mr. Glancy.

JLLs’ office leasing team is one the largest in Thailand, with 20 professionals and growing. Despite the pandemic, the firm concluded over 200,000 square meters of office leasing transactions between 2020 and 2021. JLL is also acting as sole leasing agents for numerous office buildings and projects in Bangkok including prime grade A buildings such as O-NES Tower, Vanissa Building, Spring Tower, T-One, Siam Patumwan House and JLK Tower.

The firm expects demand for its leasing advisory service to rise this year as businesses aspire to create a new way of working to meet the evolving demands of their staff, which includes achieving their wellness and sustainability targets.
