Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, the award-winning Cantonese dining destination at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting hotel guests and local residents to savor the sweet and succulent flavor of Laylanta shrimp, a local and sustainable delicacy from Thailand’s southern seas, with a choice of four special dishes this July and August.
Sourced directly from the Ulak Lawoi tribe in Koh Lanta, Krabi province, which has been responsibly farming these sublime shrimp for decades, these delectable dishes do not only taste great; they also support the local fishing traditions of this ancient coastal community.
Under the guidance of Chef Oscar Pun, the culinary experts at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant proudly present four special dishes that highlight the fresh flavor of Laylanta shrimpin a variety of styles, ranging from spicy Sichuan to aromatic Hong Kong.
Choose from braised Laylanta shrimp in homemade Sichuan hot & sour chili sauce, accompanied by deep-fried mantou, or steamed Laylanta shrimp with vermicelli, garlic and ham in a clay pot. Alternatively, savor sizzling, or experience wok-fried Laylanta shrimp with supreme soy sauce, spring onion & dried chili.
This exclusive menu will be available daily for lunch (11.30 – 14.30 hrs) and dinner (18.00 – 22.00 hrs) from 1st July to 31st August 2024. Each dish is priced at THB 1,190++ per dish.
