Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok Welcomes Satoshi Sawada as the New Japanese Master Chef

Bangkok, 29 July 2024 The dining scene at Ki feels wonderfully refreshed as Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Satoshi Sawada as a Japanese Culinary Artist

Chef Sawada has spent over 30 years on culinary adventure overseas with experiences and skills in all types of cuisines at five stars international hotel brand chains. He is behind menu and recipe creation of restaurants at the world’s leading luxury hospitality.

Thailand became his “home away from home” during 1995-2020. The veteran chef introduced traditional Japanese culinary with a twist at the award-winning Shintaro Restaurant, The Regent Hotel Bangkok, Four Seasons Hotel & Resort. Chef Sawada was later appointed Chef de Cuisine and then Executive Sous Chef at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

In 2023, Chef Sawada was appointed executive chef at Double Tree by Hilton Toyama before returning to Thailand and joining Sindhorn Kempinski as Japanese Culinary Artist of Ki, bringing the best in mood and flavours to welcome guests and Japanese food enthusiasts day and night. Chef Sawada is a master who elevating the art of culinary perfection to new heights at Ki with his passion and professionalism to the next level.
