Supporting and engaging with the local community is a core policy at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. The hotel’s management, led by Mr. Christian Ruge, General Manager, recently donated the fund THB 100,000 to the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen to support the blind in their daily lives, and also host the afternoon break for blind children.
Working with the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand, the hotel has raised this fund by implementing the CSR project: The Melody of Giving Back project to lend a helping hand to disabled musicians. Every Wednesday, a blind talented pianist, Ubonwan Piakaew (Pang), will tinkles the ivories from 15:00 to 17:00 at the Lobby. A donation of THB 100 from each Afternoon Tea set sold on Wednesday is made to support the blind children and special needs.
