Running from 16 – 22 November 2024 (17:30 – 22:30 hrs.), Italian Gourmet Week will see Chef Giacomo Vinci and his talented team present an exclusive four-course set menu that showcases premium provincial produce and sublime seasonal recipes from Tuscany, Piedmont, Lazio and Sicily
Highlights of this gastronomic adventure include Vitello Tonnato, an exquisite appetizer from Piedmont that features thinly-sliced cured veal loin with tuna, Piedmont hazelnuts, fresh capers and winter black truffle and Tagliatelle al Cinghiale, a classic Tuscan pasta dish of local wild boar, braised in Chianti and served with handmade tagliatelle and Parmesan cheese. Discerning diners can also savor Porchetta, a Lazio specialty of Roman-cured and slow-roasted pork belly, accompanied with celeriac, asparagus and Dijon sauce and a choice of desserts includes Baba Siciliano, the iconic Sicilian sponge cake with fresh whipped cream and limoncello sauce.
A choice of two dishes are available for each course, so every guest can curate their own personal culinary journey through Italy. The Italian Gourmet Week four-course dinner is priced at THB 2,800++ per person and an exclusive wine promotion offers a choice of four premium Italian labels starting from just THB 1,300++ per bottle.
Then on 22 November 2024 (18:00 – 22:00 hrs.), hotel guests and local residents can discover the earthy allure of white truffle and fine premium beverage with the White Truffle & Bubbly Dinner. This luxurious evening will immerse all diners in an ambiance of sheer indulgence, with a selection of welcome canapés, followed by a sublime five-course set dinner that embraces the opulent taste of white truffles, which thrive in the cool, atmospheric forests of Northern Italy.
To craft this mesmerizing menu, Chef Giacomo has sourced the finest white truffles from Alba, the heritage-rich town in Piedmont. Highlights include an enticing appetizer of Capesante su Finferli Saltati (seared scallops with sautéed chanterelles, ratte potatoes and white truffle), a perfect pasta course of Tortellini di Burrata e Fegato d’Oca (tortellini with burrata and foie gras in wild porcini consommé with white truffle) and a wonderfully rich main course of Guancia di Vitella Brasata nel Barolo (Barolo-braised beef cheeks with Japanese corn, Jerusalem artichoke and white truffle). Even the dessert, Frutti nel Bosco con Cioccolato Croccante (wild berries on a chocolate crisp and salted caramel) will be finished with fresh Alba white truffle and every occasion will end with a selection of petit fours.
Two five-course options are available, including a vegetarian alternative and every evening can be enhanced with a premium beverage pairing featuring five labels from the top vineyards in France. The White Truffle & Bubbly Dinner is priced at THB 5,800++ per person (food only), or THB 11,600++ for the full premium beverage pairing experience.
