18 FEB – Brighton College Bangkok Celebrates Pupils’ Exam Awards – Top in the World, Top in Region and Top in Thailand at A Levels and IGCSEs

Brighton College Bangkok has once again made headlines for its outstanding academic achievements, with pupils and teachers receiving prestigious accolades from leading international examination boards: OxfordAQA, Edexcel, and Cambridge International.

OxfordAQA – Go Further Awards
In the OxfordAQA Go Further Awards, Tara achieved the highly coveted Top in the World recognition for A-Level Geography. Five pupils were named Top in Region (Southeast Asia), while six were honoured as Top in Thailand. In addition, four teachers from the college were recognised as Outstanding Teachers, further highlighting the school’s commitment to educational excellence.

Edexcel – Outstanding Learner Awards
The Edexcel Outstanding Learner Awards saw Beem achieve Highest Mark in the World for IGCSE Art and Design: Photography. An impressive 10 pupils were awarded Highest Marks in Thailand, and a further 11 pupils received recognition for high marks across various subjects, reflecting the breadth of talent at the school.

Cambridge International – Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards
In the Cambridge International Outstanding Learner Awards, two pupils stood out with Best in Thailand accolades: Kotaro for AS-Level Computer Science and Pim for IGCSE Geography. These honours underscore Brighton College Bangkok’s ability to nurture high-achieving students across diverse disciplines.

These academic milestones add to a landmark year for the college, which was recently named British International School of the Year. This recognition reflects the school’s exceptional educational standards and its ability to inspire a global community of learners.
