Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park publishes environmental data on CF-Hotels, the sustainability platform by TAT

Bangkok, Thailand, March 23, 2025 Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, the landmark hotel in the heart of Thailand’s capital city, has officially registered with CF-Hotels, a platform authorized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which highlights the property’s commitment to sustainable operations and environmental responsibility.

CF-Hotels is a TAT-certified program which collects and analyzes data on greenhouse gas emissions in the hospitality sector, following the guidelines set by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization. The platform provides valuable insights into carbon emissions and serves as a key indicator of a hotel’s environmental management performance.

As a large hotel with 1,388 rooms, multiple restaurants & bars, and over 30 event spaces, including three ballrooms, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park is dedicated to reducing carbon emissions across all aspects of its operations. The hotel actively works to lower energy consumption, conserve water, and develop efficient waste management systems. It is also fully committed to minimizing food waste through composting, converting used vegetable oil into biodiesel, repurposing leftover food into animal feed, and donating surplus food to provide high-quality meals to underprivileged local people, in partnership with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Foundation.

The hotel collaborates with both public and private organizations to foster environmental awareness among employees, maximize resource utilization, reduce landfill waste, and decrease greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating a proactive approach to sustainability.

Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park is proud to be part of CF-Hotels, and will use the platform to assess and optimize its carbon reduction strategies. By integrating sustainable practices into its daily operations, the hotel remains committed to delivering environmentally-friendly services while maintaining exceptional standards of hospitality.
