Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town Invites Diners to Savor Succulent River Prawns and Celebrate Easter this April

Phuket, Thailand, April 2, 2025 – Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town is inviting its cherished hotel guests and local residents to come together and share memorable culinary experiences this April, as it showcases the finest local river prawns and presents an exciting Easter Sunday brunch with a wide range of live stations and uplifting activities for all the family.

At Krua Talad Yai, the hotel’s all-day restaurant, the popular Market Place Buffet is available from 18:00 – 22:00 hrs, THB 1,250 net per person (food only) returns this month with an amazing array of delicacies – including succulent seafood, cooked to-order. Throughout April, the talented chefs will be showcasing the finest river prawns – highly prized delicacies from Ayutthaya which are famed for their sweet, succulent flesh.

Five fantastic river prawn dishes will be available, in a choice of styles. Lovers of Thai cuisine can discover Meang Goong Mae Nam (poached giant river prawns wrapped in green leaves with sea grapes, sweet basil, cilantro, vermicelli noodles, chili, garlic & peanut sauce), Goong Pair (crispy river prawns deep-fried in a curry batter, with betel leaves and a sweet chili sauce), or Tom Yum River Prawns (giant river prawns in a creamy, hot & sour tom yum bisque with straw mushroom ragout, kaffir lime, chili oil, and lemongrass foam).

Guests seeking a South American-inspired dish can discover Giant River Prawn Ceviche (diced river prawns enlivened with guacamole, cucumber, red onion, chili, and lime, served with crispy prawn crackers), and Goong Mae Nam Yang (simply chargrilled giant river prawns, accompanied with Thai chimichurri sauce) highlights the sweet flavor of this fresh seafood.

Easter is one of the most magical times of the year, as families come together to celebrate the joy of spring. To mark this important occasion, Krua Talad Yai will present its Easter Sunday Brunch on April 20th, 2025, from 11:30 to 15:00 hrs at THB 1,250 net per adult and THB 625 net per child (ages 4–12) (food only). This colorful feast will showcase an amazing array of dishes and dynamic live stations, including an Omelet Station featuring freshly-cooked eggs, an Italian Pasta Station with a choice of pastas and sauces, and a Chinese Bowl Live Station where diners can build their own perfect BBQ bowl with pork, duck or chicken, accompanied with a choice of noodles, sides and sauces. Fans of Thai food can discover Tom Yum Goong Mae Nam, a spicy & sour soup with Ayutthaya river prawns, and Gaeng Som Pla Yod Mapow, southern-style yellow curry with fish and coconut shoots.

These live stations will be presented alongside an extensive selection of handcrafted dishes from around the world., including sushi & sashimi, imported cheese and cold cuts, smoked Norwegian salmon, and, of course, plenty of sweet treats.

The Easter activities will continue throughout the day with plenty of fun and games at the kids’ club, including an Easter egg hunt (09:30–11:00 hrs.), face painting (11:00–12:00 hrs.), dancing, cartoon drawing, and more!
