Australian Embassy’s Department of Education and Training recently co-hosted the first Australian Speakers & Partners in Research, Education and Skills (ASPIRES) public talk in Bangkok for Thai universities and government research agencies.
The talk, entitled “A Positive Approach to Improve Research Capacity and Protect Your University’s Reputation”, was held in partnership with Thailand’s Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC), Ministry of Education.
Australia’s Emeritus Professor Tony Moon and Professor Matthew Phillips from University of Technology Sydney spoke about the benefits of research collaboration and responsible conduct of research.
During the talk, the speakers and participants examined several case studies from Australia and elsewhere in the world discussed approaches to avoiding research misconduct.
