On Wednesday 17 October, the Australian Ambassador to Thailand Paul Robilliard and Australian Defence Attaché to Thailand Captain Chris Smith attended a service at Hellfire Pass in Kanchanaburi commemorating the 75th anniversary of the completion of the Thai-Burma Railway in 1943. Representatives from Thailand, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA were also present. Lest we forget.
