We are excited to share that KIS will be hosting a Youth Mental Health First Aid course for school faculty and staff, administrators, mental health workers, parents, and caregivers.
The instructor, Dr. Stuart Roe, will be traveling to Bangkok to speak at the International School Counselors Association conference and he has generously offered to train interested community members. The course will be held at our campus on March 14th, from 8:30 AM until 2 PM in the KIS Events Hall. Attendees will receive training and a certificate of completion.
Participants will spend about 2 hours doing the online pre-work and 4 to 4.5 hours with the face-to-face portion, totaling 6.5 PD hours. If anyone is a licensed counselor (NCC), Dr. Roe can also award NCC credits. He has also offered the course at a discounted rate of 1,000 Baht (normally the course completion is USD200/7,000 Baht).
