5 JUL – Ojo Turns Two: Chef Paco’s Culinary Carnival Hits Bangkok

Francisco “Paco” Ruano, the culinary wizard behind Bangkok’s Mexican restaurant Ojo, is back in the city to turn up the heat at Ojo, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon. On 5 July, Paco’s ‘Ojo Turns Two’ party will deliver head-spinning views of Bangkok, unlimited Mexico-inspired canapes from the city’s hottest chefs, zesty cocktails and sultry beats.

Specially for the event, Chef Paco is rolling out the red carpet for Bangkok’s culinary titans who are invited to whip up their take on tacos for an all-you-can-eat taco extravaganza, including desserts to die for from The Standard Bangkok’s pastry prodigy, Chef Max Panna Lerdsri.

The night’s guest list reads like a Michelin-starred menu: Chef Franck of Iode (French flair), Chef Joe of Samlor (Thai twists), Chef Paolo of Appia (Italian indulgence) and Chef Jai of Charm Krung (Thai tradition). The  ‘Ojo Turns Two’  birthday fiesta will also feature special concoctions from mixologists par excellence: Ojo’s Marc Pérez Rodriguez and guest mixologist Big Mike, all while DJ Maarten spins the decks.

The event will take place at Ojo on 5 July from 8:00 pm till 12:00 am. Prices range from THB 1,450 net per person with unlimited tacos and two beverages (choice of wine, beer or cocktails) to THB 9,900 net for four persons with unlimited tacos and a bottle of Aguas Mansas Espadin Mezcal.
