Bangkok Heart Hospital as the first and only recipient in Thailand of ELSO Award for Excellence in Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS)

Reassuring our expertise adhering to international standard, Bangkok Heart Hospital has received ELSO Award for Excellence in Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) in EuroELSO Congress 2022 held on 5^th May 2022 in Westminster Abbey, London, the UK. As the pioneer in cardiac care, Bangkok Heart Hospital is the first and only hospital in Thailand that has been qualified and bestowed with this award from international organizations. Asst. Prof. Dr. Attapoom Susupaus, assistant hospital director (second from the left) and cardiothoracic surgeon team were representing Bangkok Heart Hospital at the event.

Bangkok Heart Hospital has received several awards in the US and Europe, such as Mayo Clinic Rochester, Oregon Health & Science University, The Royal Brompton Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Duke University Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Stanford Hospital and Clinics and The University of Chicago Medical Center. Regarding ELSO Award for Excellence in Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS), Bangkok Heart Hospital is only the third hospital in East Asia, after National Taiwan University Hospital, Taiwan and Chonnam National University Hospital, South Korea that having received this award.
