Le Méridien Bangkok – Achieves Prestigious Diamond Safety Award

Le Méridien Bangkok has been awarded the prestigious Diamond tier at the
BSA Building Safety Awards 2024, distinguishing itself as the only five-star hotel to receive
this highest level of recognition from The Building Inspectors Association. The award
ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Naris-Saranusorn Meeting
Hall, Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning headquarters.


The Diamond award represents the pinnacle of building safety excellence and demonstrates
Le Méridien Bangkok’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of
safety and security for its guests and staff. This achievement follows an extensive
collaboration between the hotel’s safety team and The Building Inspectors Association
throughout 2024.

The BSA Building Safety Awards are recognized as a benchmark for excellence in building
safety and maintenance across Thailand’s hospitality sector. The rigorous evaluation
process examines various aspects of building safety, including structural integrity,
emergency systems, and safety protocols.
