Shrewsbury International School Bangkok Riverside Unveils ‘Be Your Best’ Film, Showcasing Student Success and Vibrant Community Spirit

On Wednesday 20th March 2025, Shrewsbury International School Bangkok Riverside unveiled its “Be Your Best” film, celebrating the experiences of its eclectic student body and overall vibrant community.

The film showcases how Shrewsbury Riverside empowers students to excel academically, socially, and personally by providing a comprehensive, multidisciplinary learning experience. Students are encouraged to aspire toward excellence in both their academic and social development, ensuring they are well-prepared to lead and contribute to society as lifelong learners, critical thinkers, innovators, and global citizens. It also highlights the strong sense of camaraderie at the school, seen in house get-togethers, student-led initiatives, and collaborative community events. These moments reflect Shrewsbury Riverside’s commitment to building genuine connections that last a lifetime depicting students being involved in a range of activities, including sports, STEM, the arts, and leadership.

Flourishing both inside and outside of their learning environment, students of Shrewsbury Riverside are involved in a variety of programmes including the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Student Parliament, Prefect and Scholar awards, the Duke of Edinburgh International Award alongside community service projects such as Habitat for Humanity, Good Shepherd Sisters and Operation Smile. This represents a fraction of the hundreds of opportunities on offer each week, all carefully designed to foster students’ academic, social, and personal growth.

Ms Sonya Papps, Vice-Principal and Head of Senior School, notes our Be Your Best video shows us a ‘slice of life’ in the Senior School at Shrewsbury, and our ethos of nurturing young global citizens, who are not only academically capable, but also emotionally intelligent, morally grounded, and actively engaged in their communities. We hope you enjoy watching the film as much as we did creating it!
