Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, one of Bangkok’s most happening addresses, debuts two all-new Afternoon Tea Signature Sets that take this afternoon pastime literally to new heights. Served at the 30th-floor Maa-Lai Library, the “Afternoon Tea at the Library” is the highest elevation afternoon tea in town with a panoramic view of the lush Langsuan greenery surrounds. The venue is just as enticing during the golden hours for a few drinks and nibbles with a bird’s-eye-view setting, where guests can now order their favourite drinks overlooking the sunset up until 8:00 p.m.
The Signature Set includes an array of luxurious bites, including highlights such as salmon on beetroot toast, lobster salad on crostini, foie gras summer roll, raspberry cream éclairs, and luscious chocolate caramel lava cakes. The Signature Set is available at THB 1,400 per set for two.
The Vegetarian Signature Set features delicious meat-free bites such as stuffed conchiglie pasta, avo toast, honey macadamia tarts, mango crunch cheesecakes and strawberry choux au craquelin. The Vegetarian Signature Set is THB 1,190 per set for two.
Both sets come with two pots of premium Thai loose-leaf tea from Monteaco, including two blends exclusive to Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok – the floral Marigold with hints of jasmine, marigold and rose and the fruity, uplifting Peach brew rounded out with rose and jasmine notes. Or guests can choose to enjoy the afternoon tea with coffee of their choice.
With the launch of Maa-Lai Library’s “Sundowner at the Library,” guests can now take advantage of all that Bangkok has to offer during the golden hour, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., while savouring bites like coal-roasted oysters, goat cheese croquettes, and cauliflower bites. Choose your favourite drink, such as the house favourite Lumduan Milk Punch or a tippling glass of Maa-Lai Martini.
