The Silk Road is welcoming the Year of the Snake with Chinese New Year auspicious dishes available as à la carte or as set menu options from 26 January to 6 February 2025, with each guest receiving a traditional red envelope containing a surprise and a fresh orange, symbols of prosperity and good fortune.

A dragon dance performance on 29 January will begin in the hotel lobby at 11:00 hours, proceeding to The Silk Road on the 3rd floor before returning to the lobby.

The festive ambiance of the restaurant will feature traditional Chinese elements such as lanterns, red and gold decor, and symbolic imagery, creating a visually stunning environment that resonates with cultural significance.

Chef Cheng Kam Sing is curating the Chinese New Year menus. A dim sum menu features auspicious delicacies and is available for lunch and dinner. On the à la carte lunch and dinner menus, Salmon Yu Sheng is available at THB 1,888 for a regular serving and THB 2,688 for a large serving, and Abalone Yu Sheng at THB 2,388 and THB 3,388. New Year Prosperity Poon Choi, cooked in a clay pot and including braised mixed meats, dried scallops, fish maw, abalone, sea cucumber, black mushrooms, and vegetables with brown sauce, is served at THB 2,200.

The Lucky Golden Snake set menu is available both for individual servings at THB 2,888 per person and for groups of 10 persons at THB 24,888.

The Silk Road is located on the 3rd floor of The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok. Lunch is served from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
