Helping to Make a Better Thailand
AustCham supports members’ CSR initiatives
Health & Safety Commitment
We work with members and partners to promote programs and share best practices that support a safer, healthier Thailand. Australia’s deep expertise in health and safety can benefit Thai society—please contact us to share your program or case study.
AustCham CSR Supported Causes
Funds are raised via major events (e.g., The Great Australian Bash, AFL Grand Final) and 50 THB from each Sundowners ticket. Each year, members propose worthy causes—recommendations are made by our CSR Committee and approved by the Board.
ANZAC Day Tour – Kanchanaburi
Each 24–25 April, members visit Hellfire Pass to attend services and support local schools with equipment and supplies. To donate or join, please contact the AustCham office.
Australian Bushfires Appeal
Together with members and the broader community, AustCham raised 1,279,051 THB for The Salvation Army Australia and WIRES. (12-month update link available on request.)
CSR “Boxing Kangaroo” CARE Package
In 2023, members, sponsors and friends supported five children’s orphanages across Bangkok, ESB, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai and Phuket— supplying stationery, books, snacks and UHT milk, and surpassing 1,000 donations.
AustCham’s CSR has donated medical equipment, learning materials, computers and millions of baht over the years. We look forward to growing our impact alongside members. CARE in the Community 2020 CSR Report – download here.
